Fastest way to charter one pavilion from schaumburg?

I live in schaumburg and I need to pick somebody up at jefferson park metra/cta stop. I was wondering what is the fastest way to charter one pavilion on a concert day, I am planning on getting there really early too. I have taken the metra to jefferson park, then taken the blue line from there to chicago. I don't know where to go from there. If anybody could help me, that would be great. Thanks!

1. From State and Jackson take the 146 Bus to Northerly Island.
2. From Jefferson Park, take the Blue Line CTA train to the Jackson stop in downtown Chicago. Walk one block east to State and catch the 146 bus. It will take you right to the Pavilion.
