What do I need to do to have a party at my local park?

By the lake there is a gazebo (Sorry, if it's spelled wrong) where me and my friends always pass while at the park and since Summer Break started today I wanted to have a big party there in about 3 weeks. I plan on having about 30 people, music, food, and sprinklers. Is there anything I need to do? Thanks!

1. This is most likely to be illiegal if you are going to be blasting music in a residental area. Sorry to spoil the fun.
2. Whatever city the park is located in, look up its Parks & Recreation department. They should be able to answer your questions, inform you of any applicable rules and regulations, and/or get you to the right person who will be able to answer your questions.
3. Call your city offices. In our city, you can reserve park locations (used to be free, may cost a small fee now). The night before you put up your city issued sign showing that the area is reserved. Or - just risk it - and all meet there. Perhaps it will be available, perhaps not.
