I was wondering if a Pavilion dv6z battery is compatible with a dv6?

i'm not to great with computers. i was planning on buying a new replacement battery for my laptop just in case something happens ( i'm now about 10 months into buying this laptop). i currently own a pavilion dv6z laptop. Will a dv6 laptop battery work with a dv6z laptop?
