When was the last time you made something cool with your kids?

today is a cold rainy day and my kids were bored out of their minds so we decided to make stuff. I brought them to Micheal's and got them each a different bird house kit. They spent the afternoon building them and now they're painting them. One is a big orange bird castle, one a techni-colored bird school house, one is a princess bird tiki hut, one a bird gazebo... And the baby is painting a big wooden heart... My kids are having a blast!!! We've got the music blaring, paint is flying everywhere and all is fantabulastic in the Dread household!!! noooo... pictures are fantastic!

1. The only things I can think of are pictures. We color pictures with crayon and marker every day. My little one is not yet 3 and has a very short attention span so we haven't made a lot of things together yet.
2. wow... seems you all having fun... It's rainy here too but my hubby and daughter went to the park and i am listening songs but i have started missing them now :p Couldn't think of anything cool we did. Colouring books, playing football, playing hide and seek, fun at bath time etc is all we do...
3. 4. We do crafts almost everyday, when we cant get out of the house, even ties we can ad my son decides he doesnt really wanna play outside LOL. we planted fowers the other day, we paint the pots and everything then i let them pick what they wanted and i helped them plat them, last week we did bird houses, I love painting with the kids!!! we also ( they have them at micheals) get these kits to make like stepping stones, we made those too!!! I LOVE CRAFTS lol have fun with your crafts!!!!
