what are the Cheap Wedding Music?
We had been counting on using our church's organist for our wedding ceremony music, but not we've changed our plans and are having an outdoor wedding in a gazebo. We can't afford live wedding musicians, so what are our options for ceremony music?

- Download stuff onto an IPod or something and connect to to a borrowed sound system.
- Anything from Frank Sinatra is great for wedding receptions. Also anything from George Strait.
- Well I have several options! Do you know anyone who sings? Any of your family members or friends, talented in music? Do you know anyone who plays guitar, piano, harp, flute, saxophone, violin, etc.? Luckily, I'm blessed to have family members of mine who sing. I will be saving money by not having to hire someone to sing at my wedding. Now another option would be to just play music at your wedding using either a CD or an ipod. You can get someone in your family to be in charge of the music. I went to a wedding once where there wasn't any musicians in the wedding at all. So they used music instead. It was a beautiful ceremony. When I get married, my fiance and I plan on using my family members in the wedding to sing at the ceremony. At the end of the ceremony I want to play a song off a CD of mine that represents my fiance and I.
- Do either of you own a nice portable stereo (and hopefully a speaker or two? All you need is the right CD and someone to cue the songs. There are several good wedding-music CDs on the market, or you could select a sampling from classical music CDs. Set everything up (and test it) well before the ceremony begins to make sure you've got the acoustics sorted out, and you'll be good to go (down the aisle, that is!).
